退職後などにオーストラリアで暮らすには、退職者用の長期滞在ビザがあります。このビザでは最長48ヶ月まで滞在が可能ですが、就労はできません
。
■申請の条件
55歳以上。オーストラリアで隠居・長期滞在を希望していること、配偶者以外の扶養家族がいないこと、このビザでは就労できないため、オーストラリア滞在中に経済的また、福利上も一切の負担をオーストラリアにかけないだけの充分な資金の証明が必要。

申請書に記入の上、オーストラリア大使館査証課へ直接申請するか、郵送でも受け付けています。
■申請料金
申請には￥11,000かかります。郵送の場合は郵便為替となります。 |

【An application for a temporary residence
visa】
If you want to live in Australia after retirement, there is a
temporary residence visa for retirement. You can stay in Australia
for 48 months with a retirement visa. But no employment.
■Basic requirements
are over age 55. Wish to retire in Australia. Have no dependants
(other than a spouse, if any). Are able to be self-supporting in
Australia without dependence on Australian social and welfare services.
■Making an application
complete the application form and apply (in person or) by mail to
the immigration section, Australian embassy in Tokyo.
■Application fee
11,000 yen:The Australian embassy does not operate an Australian
dollar bank account. Payments made in Japanese yen can only be processed
at the embassy. All payments sent by mail should be made by postal
money orders (Yubinkawase).
